In this hands-on class, you'll learn how to craft a leather belt from start to finish using traditional tools and techniques. We'll cover cutting, edge finishing, punching, and setting hardware, with step-by-step guidance throughout. Leave with a custom-fit belt you made yourself—and the skills to make more.

This is a beginner level class. No experience is necessary. If you would like to bring your own tools, please feel free! Tools to use will be provided. There will be opportunity to purchase your own tools from SoulBound Leather as well as a beginner tool kit that has been specifcally selected by SoulBound Leather as necessary to get started in leathercraft.

We will be going over, in detail, the types of leathers that can and can't be used for a belt. You will learn the anatomy of the leather hide and the differences between belt buckles and different types of hardware commonly used in leatherworking.

After class, Sarah with SoulBound Leather will go around and help students with their own projects for 30 minutes. So please bring any projects that you might want some help with. Thank you!
